We are pleased to announce that our New Collaborations proposal has been selected by a-n Magazine.
We have selected a group of artists to work with, who have connections with Kent, who are willing to be flexible with their working practice and who have an experimental approach to making art.
Artists will work within the constraints of the traditional medium of paper, pushing against the boundaries and exploring the formal and informal implications inherent in the creation of work on, with and about paper.
We are very much interested in the collaborative process of how this will evolve, and do not wish to have an end product in mind at this stage. Working this way will allow our collaborative creative process to evolve into a wider range of possibilities, e.g. installation, sound, film, animation, book.
The project will is being recorded throughout on the a-n New Collaborations blog.
We anticipate that the project will culminate in an exhibition at an East London venue.
